In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top consumer finance applications on a unified platform in Costa Rica showcased varying trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at each app's performance:

BN Móvil from Banco Nacional de Costa Rica saw a peak in weekly downloads at about 16.6K in late October. However, by the end of December, downloads decreased to approximately 7.8K. Active users hovered around 921K at the start of the quarter, dipping slightly to about 839K by the end.

Banca Móvil BAC experienced a spike in downloads, reaching 15K in late October, before tapering to 6.2K by the end of December. Active users showed an upward trend, starting at 808K and ending the quarter at around 853K.

For BCR Clave Virtual, downloads peaked at 11.3K in October, then decreased to 4.2K by year-end. Active users saw growth, beginning at 156K and peaking at 205K in early December, before settling at 175K.

BN SINPE Móvil maintained a consistent download rate, with slight fluctuations peaking at 4.4K in mid-November. Active users increased from 69.6K at the beginning of the quarter to 78.5K by the end.
